Hi, my name is Joanna.  I am a student and part-time foodie.

HOW IT ALL STARTED:
My foodie lifestyle started about two years ago when I went to New York for the first time.  I was accustomed to the revolting slime, that Pizza Hut calls “pizza,” that was so horrific, even the pizza itself cried and left puddles of oil around it.  With one bite of authentic New York style, hand-tossed, thin-crust pizza, I knew I could never turn back.  So that is how my foodie lifestyle began, and since then, I’ve vowed to travel across the world in attempt to further improve my taste palate and appreciate the fine art of cuisine.

MY BLOG:
Like Anna Thomas once said, “We all eat, and it would be a sad waste of opportunity to eat badly.”  With this blog, I hope to encourage more people to appreciate good food, to expand their taste palates, and to be more open-minded about trying new things.  Also, I hope to share about my life, and food/travel adventures as if this was my very own “online diary.”

FAVORITE THINGS?
My all-time favorite dish, hands down, is sushi… specifically, salmon sashimi.  I have a passion for boba, cured meats (Spanish chorizo), binge watching Netflix shows (Criminal Minds and Parks and Recreation), taking/posting pictures of my food, traveling, baking, and eating avocados.
